onetomany I have come around to the view that in the VERY short term charts can influence share prices, and it may be possible to predict max, min, price in a trading range.
Of course I am only talking about 3/6 months, or since last results issued etc etc, you are right in saying macro world events and company data influence prices.
The reason for the former is mass crowd psychology, buying/selling pressure, the thundering herd etc, in the absence of hard facts.
George Sorus hates market volatility, in his world an asset remains level until hard facts impact prices.
But life’s not like that..............
