TELECOM PLUS..... Tales of a distributor
skyfella1 - Thu, 26 Dec 02 :
Homer,
I have been a distributor for over 18 months, but only truely active for the last two months.
Average customer earnings are harder to say as it depends purely on customer usage, but for example, for me, I earn myself about £4.00 per month for my phone/mobile/energy/freephone useage, other customers earn me 35p a month, but I suppose on average you could say in the region of £2.00pm.
These numbers do not really mean much, and as for you earning £1000pm, well, how long is a piece of string? At the average I state you would need 500 personal customers. But there are so many other factors, because you could also be earning from your down line etc. Also I e-mailed T+ just last week concerning energy for commercial customers and the reply I got stated that it should be sorted within the next month, and that will change the picture completely. How much does it cost to keep an old peoples home/pub/cafe warm and lit etc? That IMHO is where the real money with this will be, because those bills are massive..... That could bring the number of customers required to earn £1k a month down to between 1-200 couldnt it? This is where the idea I spoke to you of is situated!
How good a salesman do you think you are?
(edit)If you did do this full time you would probably average £12.00 up front commission per customer, so if you were to sign up just 6 a day 5 days a week you would earn 30x12= £360 per week on up front commission without including residual payments. (So far my best has been 4 customers in one day, but I did only speak to 12 people!) .
Hhhmmmnnn! looking forwards to the new year even more now I've put that down in black and white........
Watch this space!!!!!!
