Tanfield Group. DELIVERING already, and REACHING higher
marnewton - Wed, 03 Jan 07 :
Hi maxi (fancy seeing you here),
and hello M.T.Glass (I like your atheist's thread),
My 'residual memory' of the IC articles is exactly that, 'residual'. Did he too mention 57.5p as resistance?
The impetus today was provided by an article by the respected Nick Louth on MSN Money (he's a holder), a reminder to check out the company.
You may have already seen this...
---------------
Tanfield
The world leader in milk floats hardly sounds like the kind of stock to make the pulse race, but then Durham-based Tanfield has expertise in a technology whose time has come. Its battery powered vehicles are all the rage for big companies who want to demonstrate (or are legally obliged) to display their green credentials. They are also exempt from the London congestion charge.
Tanfield’s powered-access vehicles, airport tugs and delivery trucks are all perfect for a world of zero-emissions. TNT Logistics has a number of vehicles under trial and if successful around 200 would be used, while the Upright division which makes powered access vehicles, has just secured its largest ever order.
Although the shares are not cheap on a historic basis, on only 10.5 times 2007 earnings per share estimates, they remain good value.
--------------------
My view was purely from a charting perspective.
No doubt it's just coincidence that resistance is where it is;-)
Regards,
Martin
