Tanfield Group. DELIVERING already, and REACHING higher

Tanfield is one of my largest shareholdings. I am reasonably confident that this will come good. Tesco have recently said that they will be converting their distribution lorries to run on biodiesel. FirstBus UK have placed orders for new buses with WrightBus for buses to run on biodiesel and stated that by early 2007, all of their vehicles will run on biodiesel.

WrightBus have six or seven hybrid-electric buses running on trial in London. Azure Dynamics, US supplier of hybrid-electric systems, are supplying a couple of hundred sets to a US coach builder.

The UK and US are both making real attempts to limit harmful gas emissions. This movement has only just begun and Tanfield are in a good position to play their part.
