I feel just the same, in that I signed up for talktalk free broadband at the end of August hoping the bottle neck had easied, how wrong I was, I signed up on the web, my landline went over to talktalk on the 14 Sep, I had an indicative date of 1st October for my broadband live, it came and went, my web tracking now said the 30th October, I was by this time getting rather fed up, so I went down to my local CW shop and got them to phone, they said I had not signed up for the broadband but just the landline, I was starting to lose my cool at this point. I asked then to sort it out and tell when my live date would be, they said it had been sorted and would be live in 10 days.
I checked again at the shop my reason for this is they can get through almost immediatley, still no broadband account, this time I got the manager involved he was getting pived off because I was going in every other day to make them phone an check in the end to his credit he did get it sorted, and now have broadband on 26th Nov bit late, the only I can say is go down to you local store not saturdays as the managers don't work at call centres or so I was told and make then sort out your broadband. Once he contacted a person at talktalk that could set up a broadband account it took ten days.
BSKYB are just as bad they told a mate that it would take 24hrs as he already had broadband, 2 months later nothing.
