StonyB. I also use exponential moving averages, which are supposed to give earlier indications, these gave a full golden cross on 14th December.
I also use my own trend lines which I stated earlier gave breakout at a 46p ish close (over two trading days). I believe that will be this week. Followed by consolidation above 50p. - Yipee - break-even.

Edit. Correction, I already see breakout at 45p(assuming it holds tommorow).

Personally I cannot see the management NOT fighting any takeover bid in the near term, it would wreck their 60p options, and exterminate their £2plus options, quite apart from making them look ridiculous, and suspect the "my broker said" report was an ill considered off the cuff mark which will turn out, in the history of TRK to be just another bit of noise.
