Tadpole Technology PLC said it has narrowed its six months to
March loss and expects further improvements in its trading performance in 2004.
In the half year, sales rose by 39 pct to 2.6 mln stg, while operating loss
narrowed by 30 pct to 1.8 mln year-on-year.
During the period, gross margins rose from 40 pct to 59 pct.
On Endeavors, the company said with the growing success of its sales
activities, it expects to start generating further revenues and improved
operating results by the end of the current fiscal year.
Cartesia, which saw sales rising by 41 pct, generated an operating profit of
75,000 stg, compared with a loss 320,000 the previous year. "We expect a significant increase in the business unit's revenues and
operating results during the second half of this financial year compared with
the first half.
