FOLLOW-ON CONTRACT WITH MAJOR U.S. MOBILE OPERATOR
DAT chosen to implement device management and synchronisation services for major
mobile operator
London, 18 October 2005 - DAT Group plc, an international developer and provider
of mobile device management and synchronisation solutions, today announces a
contract with a leading U.S. mobile phone operator worth over US$1 million
within a period of nine months. Under the terms of the deal, DAT will implement
device management and synchronisation services for a wide range of mobile phones
as part of a large scale synchronisation project involving the industry standard
SyncML. The new contract follows a licensing agreement with the operator (which
wishes to remain anonymous for reasons of commercial confidentiality) that was
announced in June 2005.
