Good research David. Those Verizon numbers are surprisingly flat in 2005 and don't seem to reflect any xmas bubble. Then they have a 29% increase in Q1 where we got a 27% increase! Our Q2 growth seems very flat against theirs. Again I wonder if there was an impact from moving the operation to the US. Surely some of the Q3 growth of 23% will feed through to SPS, considering our Vcast games, so I now expect more than £1.8m revenues from downloads in Q3. We may not get this figure reported.
Whilst you are correct that we need to outgrow Gameloft, it was their expected 35% quarterly growth increase in Q4 that I was targetting us to match.
My base case was £4.2m downloads in H2. I would be disappointed with £4m. I would now nudge up my expectation to £4.5m and would be delighted with £5m, which would give us almost three times the publishing revenues for 2005.
