A few months ago, I had a 'bet' with SUPERMUM that the FTSE would reach 5000 by Xmas .. obviously I have lost the bet, and I suppose it is time for me to pay my forfeit.

Fortunately, there was a 'get out clause' relating to severe weather conditions, and as the temperature is well below freezing, you will be glad to hear that there is no need for me to 'flash everything'.

However, there is one part of my anatomy that still has to be exposed ..
