I wouldn't write the lottery off all together. The lottery have paid money out for much worse things. It just gives Subsea something to fall back on if they have more trouble than expected with the salvage. The lottery would be a last resort is what I'm saying if subs money gets low due to failures. The lottery could stop them going bust if such a thing ever did become a possibility. Lets just hope they never have to even try for a lottery grant.
The only thing that I'm struggling to get my head round is, why have Sub admitted they won't get the full Celia cargo. Then went on to say the Ella cargo is great if they don't know. You'd think it would have been easier to just not let us know they couldn't get the full Celia cargo. It would have been easier to misslead us on that.
