As an existing holder sitting on a paper loss, Captain, I would much prefer the price to be rising. But being relistic, the market is bound to be disapointed with increased losses and further delays. So if it's going to be falling for a little while yet, this will at least provide those who are confident that the eventual scenario will be positive with an opportunity to average down. For me this has always been a long term hold, so the kind of variations we're going to get before the picture starts to become clear are not really matters of great concern. The spread and dealing costs prevent selling and buying back from being a sensible option, for me at least. I missed out on buying when these were really cheap so if the chance comes again I intend to take it ...
I entirely agree about the MD's bonus - bonuses out of increased profits are one thing, but it's always irritating when directors pay themselves fat salaries and bonuses when the company they are running is a making a loss ...
So maybe a happier Christmas next year, eh?
