I'd like to add my name to those who are congratulating you on setting up this thread. It's an excellent idea and [so far] has virtually 100% of "good posts"; as Mr Walters would put it!!!
I reckon that one could put together a really exciting portfolio by trolling through the suggestions here and picking ten or twenty. However a sensible portfolio would need +£1,000 per holding and, unfortunately, I don't have that much spare cash!!
