Stocks to Double in 2006 - we name them

Mach10 - Sun, 01 Jan 06 :

I've gone for DWSN and BQE. Dawson has cleared the decks by redeeming high interest Loan stock whose repayments were hitting headline figures. What I like about this share is that it has been through the mill so to speak and I think we have definitely called the bottom. A director took 626k worth of shares instead of cash when the company were redeeming the stock. This was done early which is a further sign it is moving in the right direction. It has gone from a £19m loss to profitability in the last interims after restructuring which is now complete. The directors had pledged to tackle the pension deficit and the high premium Loan stock. With the former achieved ,the remaining drag on the SP can be tackled. They already have made step by closing it to new entrants so the decks are being cleared. The management are confident of FY profitability so sit back and watch the SP go.
Bqe jumped 8% on the last day of trading but still has legs. This will fly when its partner for its wound healing product- a significant advance on present treatments -is announced. Throw in Mrsa against which BQE is the probably the most effective quoted company then it's easy to why these will double. The outcome of trials is set for 06 so success in these will mean this is a no-brainer.
Edited My typo- Thanks CR!
