Stocks to Double in 2006 - we name them

waywardlad - Fri, 30 Dec 05 :

Two that I support strongly are BPRG and EEN but here is another I expect to perform well in 2006

Deltex Medical. DEMG

This company produces the CardioQ haemodynamic monitor and is used on hospital patients to monitor their hearts performance. This enables doctors to identify problems and to optimise the patients haemodynamic status, which helps patients recover more quickly. Hospital stays can be reduced by up to 42%. DEMG hopes that haemodynamic optimisation will become a standard medical practice. Monitors have been sold in over 30 countries. The US army hospital has also bought the CardioQ.

After a high of about 33p in the last quarter of 2004; a placing, slow uptake from the NHS, and what appears to have been a large seller, have all contributed to the current low price of 18.25p.

However, the CardioQ has had great reviews and a non invasive version SupraQ is being developed. It appears that profitability will be reached in 2006, and that the seller has finished offloading. With a market cap of only 14m, the prospect of major orders from the NHS and the US can only enhance the SP, and I would be disappointed if this share price did not double.

edit: shares mag and RHPS, who had previously recommended them, both advised sells in 2005, so another reason for the poor performance in 2005.
