Since others are giving more than two suggestions I thought what the heck and have opted for Soco International (SIA) as, hopefully, my more sensible/realistic predictions.
SIA is in the oil sector, so a good one to pick in this sector, as it is in the process of assessing drilling results in Yemen and Vietnam, + has higher oil prices going for it at the moment. Of course, this could change in 2006, but not so sure it will within a year. It also has a declaration re: commerciality expected about Vietnam and has a new prospect to work on in Africa that was announced this year. Hence there is a good deal of news expected and the analysts have started to take an interest in the company, whilst ignoring it for much of the past.
As an outside sweetner there is also a chance that possible take over bids/talks might occur in 2006, so really there is a good deal of action likely next year.
The real expert on SIA is emptyend on TMF though and I would highly recommend that anyone interested look through the recent postings on that board.
