2006 tip - Ultrasis
Ultrasis produce Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) programmes and one of their products doing exceptionally well is BTB (Beating The Blues), as the title implies it tackles (mild) depression. NICE National Institute of Clinical Excellence is a body that oversees best practice within the NHS and they have recently reviewed CBT. When NICE release a FAD (approval) the NHS need to follow the recommendation within three months and for at least three years until a re-review. Well NICE approval for BTB has been made and whilst an objection has been put forward it is not for the BTB software it is for another software product in a different field, so come February we should see the FDA concluded and BTB recommended for all PCTs to utilise.
This good news is coupled with exciting prospects in the US, with NICE approval and completion of some trials we could see an even bigger market open up over the pond.
The profit margin for the software is very high and with a market cap of 23M the prospects are extremely exciting.
Whilst all stocks are a gamble sometimes you can reduce the risk, good research being the main one. Take a GOOD look at this stock as I think a double in the SP is unlikely, more like a treble !!
