Biofuels (BFC) is a boom or bust gamble. We were told at the EGM on Monday that they reckon that there is a 90% probability of getting the plant working by end Feb - but they've already missed end Aug, end Sept, end Dec deadlines. They have plans to get plant working by end Feb, but they also had plans for earlier dates.
If not working by end Feb, Barclays may well pull the plug and shareholders lose their shirts.
If they meet the latest deadline, then they should make £40m/year within a year - but they have £90m debt to repay.
