OK. A dipstick post first time. I do like this company. Here's a brief reasoning.
Chromogenex. CGX.L. The company has laser technology IPR on cosmetic skin work for the treatment of acne. Acne is one of the higher suicide causes amongst teenagers. The before and after shots of the work done by the CGX lasers are amazing. 6 months treatment gets skin almost normal. Unbelievable. Top UK skin treatment specialist, Dr. Chu, from Hammersmith more than endorses this company as he was going to go on board (not sure why he didn't, possibly too late before the listing. He does talks on the treament using these lasers. The company is very young, and only listed on AIM in the early summer. There is a new US team in place for selling these lasers in the USA and market there (lots spotty kids) is enormous. This is launching now. The company also has a fat busting laser, which somehow makes fat dissipate through the system after treatment. This hasn't received Fed approval yet, though. Before and after shots of the treatment using CAT scans show the fat much, much less. There are lots of fat people in the US too. The acne lasers sell for about £35k to £50k each (but don't quote me), with a significant mark up from actual build cost (£15k, I think). I apologise for not remembering all the figures. The company's overheads have been pulled back and are well in control, with the manufacturing plant in Wales with committed staff, all of who are shareholders. I was also informed that the company will make its figures for December, which put it on a P/E of about 5, if I also remember correctly. The company has a long way to go in my honest opinion. Current Mcap is about £5.9m at a share price of 9p.
