Morning O and A,
Orvis, I remember they said it 'washes its face' at $20... I assume this means break even, maybe it means a little more than that? anyhow, if crude averaged $50 in 06, = $30 to SEY/barrel times number of Ching and tie-back barrels. I assume this might also in time mean Banda gas and some Tiof? I'll not go into all that today.
but 8% of Ching is around $300M at oil price $50. ( if Chinguetti was 125M BOE recoverable, its probably more sepecially if they slosh Banda gas through its later life).
- THIS is what the brokers note suggested the 'Markets do not understand'. They will understand it when the 1st Quarter's revenues are in SEY's account.
Acamas, I've been buying even last few days at 17.68p, my average is around 16.6p. IF it fell to 16's this week I'd add another 20-30K as this week is suffering holiday volume-itis. its not a normal market and there MAY be opportunities, as in January we should be starting on upwards IMO.
Meanwhile good luck to all and a Happy festive break to you, I'll be lurking but not posting much till 3rd Jan, see you all later.
H.
