In a semi end of year energy round up, it is reported that many observers in the U.S. are saying that fundamentals are bound to take natural gas prices to new height in 2006. For me the following best sums up the overall picture:-
A lot of wells in production now, are going to start peaking.
There is a lack of LNG import facilities and an increase in gas use for power generation over the last decade.
The issue is we can't drill natural gas wells fast enough and securing steady supplies from overseas is problematic at best.
All of which is now making me(if not Amvescap) really question how long SEY will remain an independent producer!
