I have 512/256, but it never goes that quick, a test usually shows 420/210 after many hours of 'tweaking'

You can get streaming movies at 700k/s but that gives a 2 hour movie a file size of 550MB, so nowhere near DVD quality, which would give a file size of 4.7GB(-ish)

That is OK for now, as the demand is not high enough to kill the WWW, but if you put DVD quality streams, and live TV with millions of people watching, it's dead !!!! hence the move to Fiber.
