Adeyberry Hi,
Yes the UK is well behind on "Fiber to the home", but with the USA spending $75Bn and Japan spending $??Bn, and both have plans to cover their entire countries by 2010, and other countries will follow, because they can see the profit in those value added services that can be offered by moving to fiber, so I see it as another possible revenue stream for Stanelco, and it could bolster profits through to 2020 as more countries convert to Fiber.
I also agree with you, on RF for packaging being an imminent revenue stream, and I think an update on Reiser's progress will show that they have already taken up tray lidding, and are paying Stanelco as each machine is converted.
As you say ASDA will be a good win for us, as it will undoubtedly lead to Wal-Mart taking up the technology worldwide, with a few thousand machines to convert. I think that it will be ASDA that trials the new film in January, and if they and Wal-Mart take that too, that is going to put us into the £s per share by mid-2005.
We are guaranteed one RNS in mid-January, the 'Final Results', and I expect we will see some deals before then, plus an udate on Reisers progress, and some of the most upbeat statements ever, in the Final Results RNS.
Cheers,
PM
