Court case appeals will be heard on the 16th of January, do any of you actually know what Stanelco are appealing against?
Some of you seem to be under the impression that the original verdict is being appealed against, not so!
Whatever happens Bioprogress now have access to rf sealing, the only other thing we now want are costs and damages; if Stanelco win the right to have the "poor" prior art accepted then the main patent is owned by no one.
Breach of confidence ruling still stands though, how much we get is immaterial; the costs of the case alone will cripple Stanelco let alone the damages due. Bioprogress on the other hand are cash rich and cash positive as of the coming year, they're also well insured for any unforseen cc costs that may arise.
