Clarity - I'm not totally convinced with my prediction @ £37m. The poker estimate may have been generous by a million or so. The £13.5m from last Q2 included all sports, all geographies, boss poker and casino games. These are not broken down in the previous results so I don't know how much of profit related to NFL.
Consensus broker earnings for 2006 are now at £92m.
With £22.3m already banked in Q1 and Q2,3,4 producing a similar return, we are heading for in excess of £110m even if Q2 produces only £30m. So broker forecasts are still way to conservative. I'm hoping that along with positive results from party, the next trading update will rerate the company over the £4 mark.
After that, as we approach zero debt, I feel we need a catalyst acquisition to springboard the company into the world cup and £5 a share.
Anyway my official prediction for Q2 will be £33.4m
