Whilst I still believe that SBT is THE BEST PLAY in this sector as it is so diversified, and it will thus still make circa £30m in Q2 (but certainly no more) NFL margin for bookmakers after 12 weeks of the 16 week season is NEGATIVE.
Yes, negative. Effectively US sports books have paid their customers to bet so far.
As BoS said, other sports have been way above average, like college football. But this will not compensate for the NFL.
£30m will be max. £30m is way ahead of last year, but more because of diversity than anything else.
