Variations of 32 card poker have existed for some time ("Manila" in Australia, variants in Italy, Germany and Turkey)
200 million adults in those 3 Euro markets alone, all with a high propensity to gamble, all demonstrating ultra-strong growth in online betting.

Also:

Found Euro poker players demonstrate a definite preference for early to mid evening play, invariably at a home based pc.
North American preference for core play later in the evening (home) , and during lunchtime (work), based on that Chartwell advocate a Flash based route to poker (work site locations preventing downloadable client applications, Flash games can be played quickly and securely). They further argue that people no longer sit at the same machine, now more mobile (road warriors, remote workers, hotdeskers etc).
