Paradise pokers weekly 'relentless' growth, seems to have levelled off. This maybe a Christmas phenomena, or the end of the common purse growth spurt.

It was interesting what a song and dance was made over party's launch of blackjack, yet paradise's wasn't even announced.

Thanks in a large part to Dikshit Tuesday, sportingbet have been reluctant to use equity for acquisitions. With the paradise deal now almost completely digested cash can play a larger component so I'm expecting deals in early 2006.

Here's my Christmas wish list

1) For me the best deals would be acquiring sports sites, particularly if some are flagging problems after a tough nfl season. Aside from the cost savings, there will also be a 25% uplift on profits through the cross sell to poker.

2) Full integration of paradise poker. Why over a year down the line european players are still using the boss platform for poker and the cross sell to sportsbook doesn't really offer european sports?

3) New games. Partygaming will launch 2 new games next year. Hopefully as with blackjack, paradise poker will trump them.

4) My feeling is that partypoker will also get a facelift, when the new platform is launched and minor improvements such as more sidebet features will also be added. Paradise poker has to and will raise the anti.
