It later became clear that Orchid were not pursuing a minority stake further. Evidently Orchid had thought that their Letter of Intent with the China Tibet Institute of Geology Survey was of more substance than turned out to be the case when a competing local bid came into play (I think this is pretty comparable to Leyshon's dropping of the Duobaoshan project).
Anyway, I don't see how Orchid's problems bear upon a deal dependent upon a Business Licence being issued in the name of a new JV and explo rights being transferred to it, so I'm not sure what direction you're heading in, cmlsmith, if anywhere?
