Simon-there will be quite an overhang here now and i think it will be difficult to pull away from the 8-9p area quickly,but as master rsi stated earlier,the indicators seem to be beginning to turn again and although these are quite early signs,we may be seeing the beginnings of a bottom here(and what a lovely one it is too!)just wish i had some more cash,like a lot of us on here i think.Thing about bottoms of course is that as soon as people begin to think they are in,there is usually a flurry of buying activity so as not to miss out on the best prices,the old fear/greed thing,so i may well be wrong about us being held up for long at these levels.
Even if srk say ok guys,the projects a goodun,but you will have to define it better,with more tunneling/adit sampling etc and that will involve more time (and money)i think the market will like it as a lot of the uncertainty will be resolved-i.e the projects not a total duffer and at that point it should very much underwrite the s/p,whatever it may be at the time-it is the wait for it that is killing at the moment,but hopefully now as the market always anticipates these things in advance,as we get closer to the new year we may see that underwriting going on.
Seems to me that anyone that really has done their research here is still fairly confident of a good outcome,albeit a delayed good outcome.
If you think about it scr have learnt huge amounts about the way to tackle these projects in the future-little bit like being dropped in the deep end with a very steep learning curve-that experience will stand them in extremely good stead for the future,which given what i interpret them to be telling us,looks very rosy,with a myriad of potentially very large projects in the offing in some of the most prolific moly belts in southern china.They can then go at it tooth and nail,very aggressively,which im sure they will to make up for all the delays at danfeng and to proove their worth again.
Scr really have done an incredible amount of work on this project,which i think we shouldnt forget or denigrate,partly as a result of and partly despite the difficulties and to my mind have prooved themselves to be a very efficient and motivated outfit-they have been bloody unlucky,but i have great faith that they will get danfeng up and running and then go on to fulfil the aims that they initially stated.
I think alaistair clayton is a very determined man who will do whatever it takes-this company imo still has a very good and profitable future ahead of it.
