After a welcome break for Christmas it is now time to “really party” ………Mrs Stanley being a Scot, we usually prefer Hogmanay and so will be out celebrating with friends.
No work ‘till 7th January so I think that we’ll be able to recouperate in time for the New Year’s back to work routine.
Not a great year was had by us all here on SPE but I would like to take this opportunity to wish each and everyone a very happy and prosperous 2002.
Yes …..that does include everyone, ‘cos no matter how bad a contributor they might be ……we know that they are participating, maybe hurting a little financially and this sometimes brings out the worst in people. C’est la vie.
These wishes are extended, not only to those that have contributed to this BB, but also to all those Lurkers out there. Try and participate this year?? …….get a little more involved in the joyous pursuit of trying to beat the market ……and at the same time we might all learn a little along the way
After September 11th (to be perfectly honest) I re-defined my personal priorities and decided that cash losses were feeble in comparison with other’s grief.
From then on, one thing that would no longer affect my priorities in life would be the day to day vagaries of the market or any losses in financial terms……….. I am happy with my life just as it is……..no cash could replace the feeling of satisfaction I have just now…………….SONG FOR THE YEAR
“SATISFIED MIND ………Jeff Buckley”
With the 2002 World Cup to look forward to I am really going to enjoy the coming year ……..let’s hope that both Ireland and England can do well and perhaps one or two of you out there might well join me for a party in Japan???????
Special regards to the regular guys out there ……..you know who you all are …..Good Luck to you all and your families ……let the 2002 begin in style.
