Merrill's numbers will undoubtedly need refreshing from their initiation note, which had a few deficiencies - and there have been some drilling results since.
However, I'd simply look at the 3bn as a ballpark figure, so nothing to get over-excited about until it starts getting proved up by drilling. If the oligocene/miocene plays work on 9-2 though then it is worth a fresh look......though remember that nearly half the potential [ie half the 3bn] lies in the Deep E prospect on 16-1.
