Do people actually make money from trading in and out on small price movements? I recall my college business finance lecturers saying its not possible - efficient market, dealing costs, spread width, random news events. Unless they are teaching something different then that's will still be the accepted wisdom.
The market has risen consistently over the past year or so - not that SKP holders would have noticed - so the assessment of ability to beat the market has to be proven outperformance over many trades over a number of years. Can it really be done?
