Russian oil refining up 6.4% in Jan-Nov
MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - Russian oil refining grew 6.4% year- on-year to 189.26 million tonnes in January-November 2005.
The Russian Federal State Statistics Service said that oil major Lukoil (RTS: LKOH) refined 33.941 million tonnes of oil in the first 11 months of 2005.
Primary refining at Yukos (RTS: YUKO) refineries amounted to 29.635 million tonnes. TNK(RTS: TNKO)-BP refined 22.312 million tonnes of crude in January-November 2005.
Bashneftekhim (RTS: BANE) refined 17.617 million tonnes in the reporting period, Surgutneftegas (RTS: SNGS) refined 16.708 million tonnes, and Sibneft (RTS: SIBN) - 13.398 million tonnes.
Primary refining at the Moscow Oil Refinery amounted to 8.492 million tonnes in January-November.
The statistics service said gasoline production increased 5.6% year-on-year to 29.203 million tonnes in January-November, and diesel production increased 9% to 54.617 million tonnes.
Russian refineries produced 51.587 million tonnes of heating oil in January-November, up 5.9% year-on-year; 7.483 million tonnes of aviation kerosene, up 5.7%; and 2.484 million tonnes of lubricants, down 6.2%. rd RTS$#&: BANE, LKOH, SIBN, SNGS, TNKO, YUKO
