If we are talking HISTORY consider the following, just taking into account PURELY FOOTBALL RESULTS, not attendances, money wasted, managers with january sales fever, team with daftest haircuts etc etc.

The figures that matter are - Forty four - Thirty Seven - Thirty Seven.

The only answer to that is that you acknowledge that on the football pitch, Sheffield United ARE THE BETTER SIDE, HISTORICALLY as you want to use HISTORY to prove your point about attendances (how many points do the league award you for having a big crowd?)
