It's pretty sad when people are scorned for making the effort to get information on a company they are invested in and passing the info on in good faith. There are always the few that spoil it for the rest!
Prat Spotter is quite correct in pointing out how many of the long term holders rarely post now.
I can remember when I first invested here, the friendliness and informative posting was top class and many people who bought in or just visited, commented as such.
Now we have two threads, one that is dominated by a nutcase who derives his pleasure from insulting others and one that has lost it's original feel-good factor.
Looking back at our old thread- it's quite amazing how the arrival of one person can do so much damage.
I remember a similar individual, Haystack, who worked a similar routine. Appeared, chose his opponents and gradually reduced the atmosphere to zero.
We all know Sefton have been lacking, that they have shown abysmal respect for shareholders in their communication and PR, we are all aware that our investment decision to date has proved poor. I expect this to change very soon!
But the decision was ours, as is would be to pull out, it doesn't need the constant bashing by you to help realise it!
It's all very well you posting your tips Gondola, bragging when they rise, spouting how those who did not invest are numpties, but the biggest numpty is the one who buys on another posters recommendation.
I ask nobody to buy Sefton, I post what I am able with honesty and there should be no recrimination as I would never state my comments are 100% guaranteed. One should never trust one's 'source' implicitly and should NEVER trust somebody like you!
Anyway, please excuse me, I have to get ready, off again to the villa Sunday! I do wish you would post an address here, I would just love to send you a postcard! Would 'Gondola, Sheffield' reach you I wonder lol!
