SectorGuard sees FY profits in line with market hopes
LONDON (AFX) - SectorGuard PLC, the specialist manned security provider said it expects full year profits to be in line with market expectations.
In a trading statement, the company said in the year to September, the company had continued to win new business and generate healthy gains from existing contracts despite competitive conditions.
SectorGuard said it is now focused on expanding its geographical reach into the Midlands and expects to continue to grow through a mixture of organic growth and acquisitions.
"The company is already in negotiation with a number of acquisition targets." No details were however given.
The company said the alarm response, keyholding and mobile patrol business of Abbott Security Services Ltd which was acquired in April has been successfully integrated and has added significant turnover and profits to the keyholding and mobile patrols division.
SectorGuard expects to announce its full year results on Jan 11, 2005.
It also said it has appointed James McLeod as operations director.
