Another day without news - it looks like we may not hear anything until the New Year.
On the possible bidders front, there have been some developments elsewhere. As we know, EA have bought Jamdat for £400M. Viacom (who bankroll Midway) have bought the Dreamworks studio from Spielberg for $1.6Bn, via their Paramount subsidiary, and Vivendi's TV channel, Canal+, have made a bid for another French TV station for around £500M.
Whether this indicates a cooling of interest in SCi by them or not is hard to say, although all the firms concerned are so massive they would have no difficulty pulling off two deals at the same time. If they are no longer interested, it would at least clear the way for a cash/share bid from Sky!
