Slightly annoyed. I was out all day so I stuck in an order to buy at 5.32 1/2 and I see I just missed it by a whisker. Still nice to see it back over 5.50 by the end of the day. No doubt the buyer behind the CAC stake picked up another 150-200k today.
Anybody get any views on the RNS? It seems to me that they want to exercise the options after the closed period rather than during (i.e. not now). Am I daft to interpret that as meaning they think the share price is going to be significantly higher following the closed period, i.e. after it has become clear whether there is a formal bid? And given the SP would likely fall if they aren't bid for aren't they basically saying they do expect to be bid for at a price materially higher than the current price?
It seems too obvious to be true but maybe I'm missing something.
