Whilst I'm waiting for a reply to my letter of two weeks ago to Selftrade asking again for the name of the MM I decided to call them and ask about the settlement offer and if I was entitled to it.
Firstly they state that I do not have any Azure shares in my account.
"That's funny because they were there a week ago???? Can you check please?"
The nice lady tells me that she will speak to the settlement department.
After holding for nearly 20 minutes I am informed that a manager will be calling me to explain what has happened. Eh?
"Can you not explain to me what has happened?"
The nice lady then explains that that it is all very confusing and that I have the shares but they don't know where they are? A manager will call me on friday.
"Thank you very much", I say. "You've been most helpful".
What a shambles. Selftrade has been uncooperative over this every time I have called, emailed and wrote letters. A f@@cking disgrace.
