T&G have forcast 3mill loss
Now I have a good knowledge of sales price to distribution is about £14 for PSX1 and £20 for PSX2. GBC/GBA are low margin
Now look at the charts and the shops
GTC nowhere in the charts and not many in the shops. Hence a shipout of 80k @ £20 is generous europewide
DBS mostly uk so I will be generous and give it 150k @ £14 (However distribution are selling DBS at £7.50 each to shops It has been posted by a shop owner on here)
£1 mill for vaious back cataloge, deals and GBC/GBA releases
that gives me £5.4 mill tops for 2002 H1 and that is very, very low suggesting big money problems. You could say rubbish you are guessing but my guess is well researched and the fact that Rage keep running to GEM as early as possible suggests my guesses are very close. Criticising and playing with words simply disguises the problems with Rage you fear to delve into
For comparison SCI have shipped 300k RCX at - I will use a low £8 (non return hence low) = £2.4mill
200k TIJ at £14 = £2.8 mill
Reorders as stated for TIJ by the company. I will estimate 40k @ £14 = £800k
Tbirds GBA + other products and back catalogue and deals will use £1mill same as Rage
That gives SCI £7mill in revenue in 3 months whereas Rage I have down as only £5.6 mill in 6months
SCi is half the mkt cap, got higher Revenues IMHO and if you disagree then you should do some research and read SCI RNS's and Rage RNS's. SCi's give the shipout numbers and Rage's don't. For Rage you have to try and get an idea from the charts and their games have done very poor. TIJ has strongly outperformed DBS. Believe me or not is up to you but I feel Ragers are in for a very big shock
Keith to research a company you have to forcast sales otherwise how do you value it and game stocks are the easiest. Simply look at the charts in the UK or look for shipout numbers and deal structures such as SCI and TIJ in the UK and RCX deal for europe done in their seemingly std way
