Chances of doing as well here as mxc imo are about as likely as Santa coming down the chimney in the guise of Kiley Minogue with Shergar waiting on the roof at the head of his sleigh though...
I figure everything hinges on Rio Tinto and if their relationship doesn't progress then they're buggered which is why I was doing the Scrooge thing and only put in £500 for starters and that was at just over 2p, so break-even is already in the distance. They'll most likely be raising more cash so there'll be no problem in averaging down if Rio have positive notes on this jv.
Being in this early (even with just a few quid) does hold the advantage of paying a lot less CGT in a coupla years if things come good so in that respect I look at them as a kinda two-pointed investment though it's definitely more weighted as a gamble at this stage.
