RG Know what you mean about Marconi - also Invensys to my cost. As Slater Walker said elephants can't gallop (I say they can drop dead) One of the reasons I do not trust most analysts and/or merchant bankers and/or investment managers most of whom were very confident of these stocks. ALSO VOD at much higher levels.
Like you I agree that there is potential - the real question is sales. I am very worried about the apparent dropping of the prop by Honda in Australia and can find no evidence of any other OEM endorsement. I am trying to do as much reseach as possible (short of making an approach to the Company "which might or might not result in an offer" i.e. I suspect the information I am after is in the confidential files. Fat chance of my getting those. !!!! Also who has ovnership of the Tools? Small companies (if one times it correctly can greatly improve ones portfolio - To name but 2 I still hold and have recovered my initial investment (PDX & ITM) Going to name my new boat Bros Heathcote - BUT either could easily crash. Look at DAT.
