stu31;>. You are so right about failed tech coys. I could fill a page with coys that have promised the earth and then gone bust or nearly bust. They are what I call - Nice concept shame about the sales/bottom line.
In respect of Ringprop have you by any chance done any research or have access to user reaction to the props?
"DevBod - 21 Nov'05 - 10:29 - 530 of .Perhaps it has been marketted poorly but the product has been out for many months and the customers are not beating down the doors to buy them."
Another concern I have is that I cannot find any OEM endorsement/approval of the props. I may be wrong but the apparent withdrawal of ? Honda ? from the Australian distributorship is a worry
"KatyLied - 3 Oct'05 - 10:30 - 413 of 647...RingProp PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Austral Propellers as its exclusive Australian distributor...I'm certainly happier aa6. But to be truely happyI await your considered explanation of how thisnews (ie. EXCLUSIVE) is reconciled to the previous Honda Australia distributiondeal. That was after all, the issue."
Would you put an unknown prop on your expensive engine UNLESS it was approved by the manufacturer of the engine?
I have seached the Ringprop site for references to OEM approvals but cannot find any. I would have expected to find them here; but no mention even of engine types.
The more reseach I do the more questions I find need answering
This is not a deramp - just due diligence before potential investment -
Concerns/thoughts over marketing distribution and advertising outlined in previous posts.
