HugePants - I agree that something must happen soon if existing shareholders are not to lose out in a big way. The FT article back in July suggesting that REN had been in talks with potential US partners, and REN's relative openness about the looming cash crunch at least shows they are trying to address the issue. However, the investment environment and current sentiment towards biotech (which is perhaps finally showing some signs of improving a little), and lack of high profile good news stories on stem cell research generally, does leave things looking a little iffy. Let's hope that this is already reflected in the price!
Rickja - not quite cautious enough, I don't think. I'd be pleased to be put right on this, but my reading of the RNS on the PRM/REN collaboration makes it clear that this relates to theraputic treatment of stroke, not the diagnosis - which is what the recent PRM/Biosite agreement is all about.
