SOLA themselves told me that 1 wafer = 2.4W, and this will be the standard that they use when telling us how many MW they are expecting to produce etc. however, as you say, MW per wafer changes with wafer efficiency and, presumably, wafer thickness. Also, it is only 2.4W if it is a 5" x 5" wafer size, it will be quite a bit more for the 6" x 6" wafers off some or all of the multis. 2.4W is just the basic unrefined figure that SOLA use.
Yes, there will be 73 wire saws in total. I got my info. from the Q3 results about the timing of their installation. My main point was to highlight Lemmings over estimation of the resultant profit increase by a factor of 4 because they state SOLA are producing 33m wafers per quarter when really it is per year. Just an error.
Meyer Burger website states "The DS 262 wire saw cuts more than 4400 wafers in five hours to above-average quality standards".
In my post I knocked off a nominal $200k for the in house costs associated with operating the wire saws to get from Gross Profit to Net profit.
eps is normally worked out according to the weighted average no. of shares in issue during the reporting period rather than the number of shares at the end of the period. So, if there are 100m shares at the start of the year and if 50m new shares are issued half way through the year, the weighted average no. of shares in issue during the year was 125m.
