Received this from Halifax share dealing yesterday:
REEFTON MINING NL - Cancellation of Listing
REEFTON MINING NL has requested cancellation of listing of its REEFTON MINING NL NPV Shares from the London Stock Exchange.
Reefton Mining will be moving the Company's UK based shareholding to the Australian share register to provide a continuing means to trade in the Company's shares.
Unfortunately, under our terms and conditions we are unable to support dealing in Australian listed securities. You therefore have the following options:
Transfer your holding to another broker who provides a dealing service in Australian listed securities free of charge
or
Withdraw your holding into certificated form free of charge.
Consequently, you will receive a Holding Statement identifying you as a security holder in the Australian share register shortly after the 1st December 2005, or following your individual request for removal from the UK to the Australian share register beforehand.
Although transfer of shareholding from the UK to the Australian register is not taking place until the 1st December 2005, the shares are no longer listed on the London Stock Exchange and are therefore no longer tradable.
If you have any further queries regarding the delisting, please contact Computershare Investor Services on 0870 703 0028.
The Company has arranged for Patersons Securities Limited to address the trading instructions of shareholders affected by this event. You are not obliged to use Patersons Securities Limited. The contact persons at Patersons Securities Limited whom you may contact are: Mr Tony Melville on +61 8 9263 1166 or tmelville@psl.com.au, and Mr Gary Castledine on +61 8 9263 1630 or gcastledine@psl.com.au.
The Company has been advised by Patersons Securities Limited that shareholders who wish to use their service will need to open an account with them. This can be done by obtaining a form from one of the gentlemen listed above, and returning it together with a copy of your Holding Statement and a certificated copy of your photographic identification. Any questions in relation to the forms and identification requirements should be referred to either of the gentlemen listed above.
Patersons Securities Limited has also advised that when placing a trading order (buy or sell) the shareholder will be required to set the quantity, price and banking details for the transaction.
Please note that if we have not received a request from you to transfer to another broker by the 4th November 2005 we will withdraw your holding and forward it to you as soon reasonably practical.
