Britain are also involved in nuclear waste in Russia and ex-Russian states....
"The British government has provided more than $40m (£21.4m) to enable the hi-tech secure storage site to be built at Murmansk port. "
ref.
and lots of nuclear work to do
"One of those ships, despite holding tonnes of enriched uranium, is still sailing around the region picking up yet more spent fuel from nuclear submarines".
I wonder if they will need any waste containers such as part of Redhall makes...
...maybe now that the Russians have doubled the price of their gas contracts with Georgia et al .....and value of oil/gas company shares and profits have gone up ...perhaps they will have cash to spend on handling/storing the nuclear waste
...if Britain is involved in any of the funding then perhaps they can use UK specifications , to try to ensure the job meets standards....and that would perhaps give Redhall a chance to quote....
