RC Group (RCG) - Ready to tap into $4 Billion Market

Ppowerscourt, I e-mailed RCG - part of their answer was that RCG Marvel is a "newly set up business focusing on Auto ID and RFID applications solutions in Q2 of 2005 which the key mangement team are come from Marvel."

So my guess is that the Marvel management team simply jumped ship/moved over lock, stock and barrel to RCG. As I posted before, maybe they didn't have the working capital or business expertise to take Marvel further, whereas within RCG they are part of a PLC with consequent possibilities for remuneration, rewards and backing for expansion.

Whatever the case, RCG appear to have got them on the cheap and instantly acquired an additional blue chip roster of clients and partners.
