Excellent buying opportunity at the moment.
I am surprised that no one has commented on Island oil and Gas’ announcement of the drilling of 3 wells offshore Ireland early next year. Should add to the speculation frenzy next summer.I was surprised that they announced the drilling as they are taking part in the current seismic survey with Providence.
That should mean that Providence should be equally be in a position to announce drilling plans soon. From the interim report “Details of this multi-well programme are still being worked on and it is hoped to be able to announce further details later this year.”
Only snag is that it is likely that there will have to be a serious fundraising first, If they are to retain a sizable stake in each field. Our new directors background in large furndraising will come to good use.
I would expect a full update on all prospects, drilling plans and further acquisions (Porcupine + overseas?)and production plans for the celtic sea,"Interim report- Various development options are now being considered and Providence also separately continues active discussions with third parties." It will be nice to look back in a years time and think of the opportunity missed. All imho. Dyor.
